Your Favourite Holiday Spots in Calgary

We polled our Twitter community last week on where their favourite holiday spots in (and around) Calgary were, and the results were pretty unanimous. Here’s the three Calgary (and area) spots that earned the most votes.

Head down to the Calgary Zoo with your kids, family and friends to see over 1.5 million lights twisting around trees, tracing animal and dinosaur shapes and flashing to music. Along the way, stop to warm up by the fire pits and have some fun in the Kids Zone. Dress warmly. We’ll make the hot chocolate.

Airdrie Festival of Lights

Located in Airdrie’s Nose Creek Park, the Airdrie Festival of Lights is a beautiful, outdoor walk-through lights experience, with about a million dollars worth of  displays and other special features.  Just to give you an idea, we have miniature trains which carry the whole family around our pre-set paths, as well as open bonfires where you can savour that cup of hot chocolate, and treats that are available in the park from several different food vendors.
