Your Favourite…Calgary Lunch Spot

Looking for some new places to eat lunch? We recently polled our Twitter followers on their favourite Calgary restaurants to enjoy lunch. Here’s the top recommendations:

Lazy Loaf and Kettle
Voted for by: @LinziLockit
Address: 8 Parkdale Crescent NW
Website

“Having expanded from 2 to over 30 employees in 17 years, the success of the Lazy Loaf proves they have the right combination by starting with and sticking to home-grown ingredients. The old fashioned cinnamon buns; homemade soups and sandwiches; and baked goods from Grandma’s recipe box have meant loyal customers and committed staff. With so much goodness behind every cup of locally roasted coffee and fresh sandwiches served, it’s easy to see why the Loaf is one of Calgarians’ favourite eating spots.”

Cadence Coffee

Voted for by: @AmberCraig_
Address: 6407 Bowness Road NW
Website

“This neighbourhood spot not only boasts great cuisine from breakfast all the way to dinner, the vintage decor will make you fall in love as well. The ‘blast from the past’ setting would bring anyone inside, but the food and coffee is divine. If the daily specials don’t make your mouth water, try one of their breakfast bagels or soups.”

Len’s Picks:

Earl’s Tin Palace

Address: 2401 4 Street SW
Website

“There’s a whole lot more for you to see, do and taste here in the heart of Calgary. The Tin Palace is expansive yet comfortable, with an impressive display of flora from around the world. Throw in some Mexican limestone, and you’ve got the makings of a great environment for great company and a memorable meal. The famous Earls restaurant patio is also alive and well here, if you’re interested in joining us for some sun and sustenance (and more than a few social libations).”

Murrieta’s Bar and Grill
