According to the National Homebuyer Preferences Survey released this week, Albertans rank family in high priority when choosing where they want to live.
Highlights of the survey:
• Albertans most likely of Canadians to choose ‘family-oriented’ as a community necessity
• 19% of Albertans rank family-friendly as a priority for community selection
• 25% of Canadians desire a home that’s move-in ready for renovated
• Millennials are twice as likely as boomers to rank location as a priority
• Boomers are more concerned about having leftover funds post-home purchase
• Half of Canadians plan to move within the next 5 years
