March is an ideal time to list your home for sale, for several reasons. Firstly, interest rates are still low, so there are buyers out there. Also, the market is generally lighter this time of year, and with lower inventory, there is less competition. This translates into you getting a great price for your home.
In fact, statistics released by CREB for February, show that homes are selling in fairly short periods of time and for prices close to the list price. Right now is definitely a seller’s market in Calgary, so take advantage of the market!
