Calgary’s Best was a 10-day social media campaign we put on, to quiz Calgarians on their favourite places and businesses in the city. Kensington, Calgary’s ‘Village in the City’, invites you to participate in the Salsa Tasting Contest. Kensington businesses will serve up over 500 gallons of 40 different salsas. Carifest:
“Carifest is an annual festival held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada that showcases the arts and culture of the Caribbean. The Caribbean Community Council of Calgary (CCC) organizes Carifest as part of its mandate. The Council was incorporated under the Alberta Societies Act in 1981 and has grown Carifest to become one of the major festivals in Western Canada. CCC’s executive and membership operate on a volunteer basis with a focus on aligning the correct skill set, experience and personality with the appropriate CCC function.” — Read more at www.carifestcalgary.com.
