Our first big snow dump has already hit here in Calgary, so it’s time to stop fighting winter weather and be ready to deal with it. Here’s some different tools and tips for snow removal on your driveway and/or sidewalks this winter.
Shovel

Snowblower
These are easy-to-use and there are many different varieties, some that even attach to other vehicles/tools you may already have at home. This will also make a big job go quicker.
Chemicals/De-Icer

Electric Snow MeltersThese products are hidden wires under the surface that will heat up concrete and driveways to melt or prevent icing on the surface.
There are a lot of new technologies on the market as well, and this article by REALTOR.com outlines some of these in greater detail. Good luck with the snow this winter!
